My mom and i are arriving 9/28/12 and will be using the magical express. Our flight gets in at 850pm should we retrieve our luggage or will they be delivered to our room later that night?

    Hi Rose,

The choice is really up to you. Disney's Magical Express will handle luggage for guests arriving prior to 10:00 p.m. Since your flight arrives before that, you're welcome to put the yellow Magical Express luggage tags on your bags. When you do this, your bags will be pulled behind the scenes and routed to be delivered to your hotel. A typical delivery time for bags is about three hours after your arrival, meaning that your bags could be delivered at around midnight, or perhaps even a little later.

Another alternative would be for you to NOT put the yellow tags on your bags. In this case, your luggage will be sent out to the regular baggage carousel for you to pick up. You can then grab your bags yourself and take them with you over to the Magical Express desk. You will be able to bring your bags with you on the bus so that they arrive at the same time you do.

Personally, with an evening arrival, I'd opt to get my bags myself so that I can settle in, get to sleep, and be ready to go early in the morning. But if you're a night owl, or have mobility issues where getting your own bags is a challenge, then by all means have your bags sent via the ME delivery service.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
