    Romeo from GA Asked

how do I modify my trip?

    Hi Romeo,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for reaching out to us with your question about modifying your existing Reservation.  It looks like you are planning a visit soon, hopefully you will be able to get your reservation fixed to best suit your needs.

In order to change an existing Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package that includes both Theme Park Tickets and a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel stay look under "My Plans" in My Disney Experience.  Beside your reservation there may be a button that says "Change Reservation", if so follow the link to see if you are able to modify your vacation to better suit your needs.  If the button is not there, you may need to call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and a Cast Member will be able to assist.  Once your reservation has been changed, be sure to cancel your Theme Park Reservations and make new reservations that match your new travel plans.

If you have Theme Park Tickets only, all you need to do is change the start date of your Ticket, again in your My Disney Experience Account.  In "My Plans" scroll down and select "Tickets and Memory Maker" and beside your Theme Park Ticket you should see a button that says "Change Ticket".  Click on the link to start the process of changing your Theme Park Ticket.  Depending on the new date, there may be an additional cost, which will be due at the time you change your Theme Park Tickets.  I also do recommend double checking that there is Theme Park availability prior to changing your Theme Park Tickets, as guests do require both a valid Theme Park Ticket and Theme Park Reservation for every day they enter into a Theme Park.

I hope you are still able to make your trip to Walt Disney World Resort, Romeo.  If you have any other questions please come back and visit us here at planDisney, we are always happy to help.
