Hi Dana,
It's always great to see you planning Disney at planDisney. I understand you are trying to modify your theme park reservations for your January visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Theme park reservations are required for all ticket types through January 8, 2024. Beginning January 9, 2024, theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets.
I also have some Disney Park Pass reservations showing in My Disney Experience for January. Here's what I experienced when I went through the steps of modifying a theme park reservation just now:
- After clicking "Manage Reservation" by a Disney Park Pass reservation on the My Plans page of my My Disney Experience account, I clicked "Modify Reservation" next to the specific reservation I wanted to change.
- I then selected those in my party whose theme park reservation I wished to change and clicked "Continue."
- Next, I selected a new date and park I wished to visit. Availability was open except on dates that I already had another theme park reservation.
- After clicking "Continue," a "Review Modification" screen appeared and the modification was finalized by clicking "Confirm Selections."
If availability is not showing when you try to modify a theme park reservation, Dana, my best guess is that you are trying to change to a date on which you have an existing theme park reservation. If your park days will remain the same, try modifying the park instead of the date attached to each theme park reservation. If further assistance is required, a helpful Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ number is happy to take your call.
My family's top three must-dos for our January visit are to experience
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana in EPCOT, eat a Ronto Wrap at
Ronto Roasters in Disney's Hollywood Studios, and be inspired by
Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom Park. Hope to see you on Main Street, U.S.A., Dana!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
