Chad from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How do I modify my booking? I attempted to remove one day at the parks a week or more ago, but it’s still on my booking. Maybe the park reservations are different than the first booking I did? Anyway, how can I go about making these changes? Thanks, Chad

    Hey there, Chad!

Thanks for connecting with us here at planDisney! We really appreciate you taking the time to bring us your question, and we're happy to help.

I think you might be referring to the Disney Park Pass system that enables you to make a reservation to visit one of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Guests visiting a theme park will need to have a park reservation for the theme park they're visiting, in addition to a valid theme park admission ticket for that theme park.

It sounds like you want to make a change to a theme park reservation you made, and this is super easy to do. You can modify a theme park reservation using the My Disney Experience features of your Disney account on the Walt Disney World Resort website. You can also make modifications to a theme park reservation using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

If you want to use the the My Disney Experience features in your Disney account on the website, simply go to the "My Plans" menu area and look at the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section of your plans. You should see two content tabs in this section -- the first is the "Daily Itinerary" tab and the second is the "Tickets & Memory Maker" tab. The "Daily Itinerary" tab will display your theme park reservations. You should see a "View Details" button you can click to display both the reservation details and a link to "Cancel This Reservation." When you click the link to cancel the reservation, you'll see the names of everyone in your party for whom the theme park reservation was made. Simply check the names for whom you want to cancel the reservation. When you select one or more names, the prompt will change to "Cancel for these Guests," and you then click the "Continue" button. And it's all that easy!

You can also make modifications to a theme park reservation using the My Disney Experience mobile app, and the steps are just slightly different in the app. From the app menu, tap the "My Plans" tile to view your plans, and then tap the reservation you want to change. Tap "Cancel," then check the names for whom you want to cancel the reservation, and then tap "Continue."

If you want to make a new theme park reservation, you can do that easily, too. You can make new theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system in the My Disney Experience area of the Walt Disney World Resort website. You can also tap the "plus" sign in My Disney Experience mobile app and tap "Make a Park Reservation."

I hope this information helped show you a quick and easy way to manage your theme park reservations. If you need some additional help with using My Disney Experience, you can always reach out to the Walt Disney World Resort Internet Help Desk by calling (407) 939-4357. If you are looking to modify your Walt Disney World Resort hotel booking, my best suggestion is to reach out to Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936.

Chad, here's wishing you an awesome fun time on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
