Hiya Tricia! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by!
Hot Diggity Dog! I'm so excited about your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort! After having to cancel a previously scheduled trip, I'm sure you cannot wait to finally live your Disney dream! Lucky enough, the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration will still be underway during this time and you can partake in all of the new experiences that have come to the parks! There are new treats to try and nighttime spectaculars to watch!
It's always a great idea to add more days to your stay! No matter how many days you have, it's hard to fit everything you want to do into any time frame. Being that you added the sixth park day successfully, you should be able to make a park reservation with relative ease. Your tickets should have no bearing on your resort reservations, so even if you have three separate bookings, you should still be able to make park reservations.
If you just added this day on, it may take some time for the system to recognize the change. I would try making the reservation again since it has been a couple of days now. If that does not work, try using the opposite method to make the reservation. If you used a web browser to sign into your My Disney Experience account, try making the reservation using the
My Disney Experience App. Sometimes a change of technology will do the trick!
If these options fail, you can
call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast member for assistance. I had trouble linking an extended group of Guests using the Family & Friends feature on My Disney Experience account and a friendly Cast Member was able to take care of this for me over the phone. They should be able to steer you in the right direction!
Tricia, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming vacation! There is no better place to start the new yEAR than at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
See ya real soon!
