Hi Nicholas,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's great that you're planning ahead for your magical Walt Disney World celebration vacation. I'm going to start with the idea that you're interested in Walt Disney World resorts in the Moderate Resort category where you access your resort hotel room from an interior space such as a hallway, as compared to entering your room from the outside. The resorts in the Moderate Resort category — Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort — will feature access to your room from outside. One idea for you to consider is
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. While categorized as a Value Resort, the resort features family suites that are accessed from an interior hallway. I can also share that the family suites — themed and styled after animation favorites like Cars, The Lion King, and Finding Nemo — are comfortable, spacious, and fun. Another idea for you to consider is the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel or Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. While these resorts don't strictly fall into the Walt Disney World Resort Value-Moderate-Deluxe categorization, they do feature rooms with interior access. My good friend and fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist
Robyn offered some helpful insights about these resorts.
Nicholas, because you're in your early stages of planning, you might want to check out the
Free Planning Videos that provide a great (and fun) overview of resort accommodations, dining destinations, and theme parks.
Enjoy your Disney!
