Are there any moderate resorts in WDW that have private balconies?

    Hello Shayla,

I hope your Walt Disney World vacation planning has gotten off to a great start. I'm also glad that you stopped by to seek our advice here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

All of the moderate level resorts have rooms that open to covered exterior hallways leading to the building stairs or elevators. So, there are no private balconies at the moderate or value level. If you would like a private balcony, you would need to book a room in a deluxe level resort, such as Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Disney's Yacht Club Resort, to name a few. If you want to get the ultimate balcony experience, I would highly recommend reserving a savanna view room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. You will see animals up close and personal right off your balcony. We stayed there on our oldest son's first visit and he watched the giraffes (his favorite animal) for hours just yards from our balcony. It was a great place to enjoy a morning coffee or wind down in the evening just before sunset. In my opinion, it is worth the splurge!

Have a wonderful vacation no matter where you choose to stay. If you have more questions, feel free to stop back by. We love helping guests make the most of their magical trips.
