Which of the moderate resorts (in the park) do you like best?

I've enjoyed the opportunity to stay in three of the four moderate resorts and my favorite is Port Orleans Riverside.  The only moderate I've yet to be a guest in is Port Orleans French Quarter, though during one  visit we did walk from Riverside to the French Quarter and what I did see of the resort was quite charming.

One of my favorite things about Riverside is that the grounds are absolutely gorgeous.  During a recent stay, the short stroll along the Sassagoula River from Lodge 18 in the Alligator Bayou section to the Resort Center was delightful.  The ducks that waddle around near the river's edge seemed to add to the whimsy of our stay.  My husband and I also appreciated the opportunity to unwind at the River Roost Lounge in the evenings.  Your family might be interested in one of the horse-drawn carriage rides that meander through the Riverside grounds.  Call 407-WDW-PLAY for information and reservations.

Each of the moderate resorts offers fun theming and good amenities and I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay whichever you opt for.  I recommend Riverside over the other three because in my experience it has more of a "deluxe" feel for a moderate price.  Good luck with your decision!
