Any of the moderate resorts use the monorail or water taxi to get to a park? Or only busses?

    Hi Lisa,

What a great question!  My family and I love experiencing all of the different types of transportation throughout Walt Disney World Resort, especially the Monorail and water taxis!  Unfortunately, the Monorail only "serves" three Deluxe Resort Hotels - Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  The water taxis and ferry boats are generally for transportation between the Deluxe Resorts as well.  With that being said, Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter and Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside offer a water taxi between the resort and Downtown Disney.
Even though these options are only available at Deluxe Resorts, please keep in mind that because you are staying on Walt Disney World Property, you are able to use the monorail and boats as well.  Use these modes of transportation to explore Walt Disney World Resort or take them to your dining reservations.  There are different types of transportation offered between Theme Parks as well, so feel free to take the Monorail to EPCOT, or a Friendship Boat from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT.

I hope my answer helps Lisa.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we would be happy to help!
