All of the moderate resorts look so nice, I can't decide. What is the best for young kids, yet relaxing for adults?

    Hi Christa,

You could never go wrong with any of Disney's moderate resorts; however, my family's favorite is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter.  We love this resort because it is smaller than the other moderate resorts.  If you love the city of New Orleans or if you're interested in visiting, then you will love this resort.  It is inspired by the historic French Quarter in New Orleans.

Doubloon Lagoon, the pool complex, includes a waterslide which is very fun for the young ones and the big kids!  There's also a playground that your kids will enjoy.  Not far from the Doubloon Lagoon is Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court.  You will find American and Creole food in the food court.  Be sure to try the Beignets!!  Just make sure you have plenty of napkins for the powdered sugar.

If the food court does not satisfy your appetite, then you can take the water taxi (free of charge) to Downtown Disney.  There's a wide variety of restaurants to choose from here as well as shopping outlets.  I hope this helps as you have a tough decision to confront!

    Have a magical day!
