Are there any moderate resorts available for March 12th-18th?

    Welcome to planDisney, Lilli.

Whenever my family travels to Walt Disney World Resort, we try our best to be fully immersed in the magic. And with their celebrated theming, service, and storytelling, the Disney Resorts Collection hotels make that wish come true! Guests enjoy first access to Disney Genie+ selections and advance dining reservations. There’s also convenient (and complimentary!) transportation to your next adventure, whether you choose to travel by bus, boat, monorail, or even the wonderful Disney Skyliner. My personal favorite benefit is the ability to enjoy extended theme park hours. There is early Theme Park entry for every Guest staying on property and extended evening Theme Park hours for those staying at Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels or Disney Deluxe Villas. More time in the Parks = more happiness! And for some extra pixie dust, Guests get unique Magic Band deals. In short: it means no worries, for the rest of your stay!

Lilli, I've just checked all the Moderate Resort hotels for the dates you mentioned and the only thing I found was the "Tower - Standard View - Club Access" room at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Whilst this would be an enchanting experience, it is certainly on the pricier end. I also checked the Value Resort hotels for you and I couldn't find any availability. Unfortunately, the popularity of Walt Disney World means that this can happen if you are booking a couple of months out.

All is not lost, though, Lilli. May I make another suggestion for you? I recently had the pleasure of staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The majestic lobby, fascinating theming, amazing restaurants, luxurious comfort, and African wildlife all combine to make it my favorite hotel. I'm a big fan of the "scran" (that's what my fellow Liverpudlians call "food") at Boma - Flavors of Africa. The famous bread service at Sanaa is an experience not to be missed. And Jiko - The Cooking Place, which is one of the best restaurants on property, is reopening in mid-February. And here's the good news: they have Standard Rooms available! Yes, this is a Deluxe Resort, however, the Standard Rooms are actually cheaper than the room I found at Disney's Coronado Springs. You also get the added benefit of being able to enjoy those extended evening Theme Park hours.

I truly hope you're able to book your vacation and have a magical time, Lilli. As Snow White once said, "I'm sure I'll get along somehow. Everything's going to be alright." Thanks for stopping by planDisney.

    ChEARS,
    Mike
