Hi, Kristine!
I have a feeling that your question is one that would get a different answer depending on which one of us answers it!
I'm glad to give you my recommendation for
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. I absolutely love the New Orleans theme of this entire property! Just off the main lobby, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is a fabulous eatery where giant Mardi Gras parade icons are 'floating' overhead. It's definitely a fun and festive dining location.
The Mardi Gras inspired Doubloon Lagoon pool has a 51-foot-long waterslide that your sons will both love! The pool area is surrounded by an all-alligator band and there are water features and sprays for the kids to play in as well.
Also, it's a rather small Resort and there is only one bus station just outside of the main building where the front lobby is located. This makes transportation to any of the Theme Parks a breeze! You can even hop on a boat to the Downtown Disney District! We like to walk along the Sassagoula River over to
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside where there are many different activities to partake in, including a fishin' hole!
I hope you think this Resort is as awesome as I do and that it helps with your decision! Please come back and see us if you have any other questions we can help with.
Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
