    What moderate hotels are located close to the Magic Kingdom? Are the resorts so big we need to worry about walking from one part of the hotel to the transportation?

    Hello fellow Nebraskan!

    Hands-down, the closest moderate resort to the Magic Kingdom is the Cabins at Fort Wilderness. While this resort is spread out quite a bit, it does have an internal bus system to help guests get around, but many guests opt to rent a golf cart, which makes getting around the resort super-easy!   Another great advantage to staying at the cabins is that they are like little apartments, so you have a full working kitchen. 

    By the way, Fort Wilderness also has a couple of my favorite things:  Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue and Chip 'n Dales Campfire Singalong (this is free!).
