Hello Ellie! Welcome to planDisney. Oh boy! You are set to arrive at Disneyland Resort in just a few days! I'm so excited for you.
I took a look at the
Disneyland Resort Park Rules and Regulations and it states that wheeled mobility devices should be single rider and no wider than 36 inches and no longer than 52 inches. Unfortunately, that means that your scooter that fits two people most likely not be allowed into the parks. I'm sure this has to do with the ability to be able to get the scooters through attraction queues and entrances as well as being able to easily get around the walkways that can get congested in certain areas of the park.
I do want to share that if you both do not have single-person mobility scooters, you do have the option to rent one from Disneyland Resort. These are available for rent at the
Stroller Shop which is located just to the right of the Disneyland Park entrance gates. There are electric convenience vehicles and wheelchairs available here to rent per day. There is not an option to reserve these in advance as they are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to get there in the morning if you are interested in utilizing this service.
If this is your first time visiting or you just want to brush up on each attraction and the protocol for whether you need to transfer from a wheelchair/ECV or if you can remain in it for the attraction, the
Attractions section has a filter to let you search by each option.
Ellie, I'm so excited that you will soon be enjoying the sights and sounds of Disneyland Resort. Thank you so much for stopping by!
