Hey Howdy Hey Ari and welcome to planDisney!
One of the many benefits of visiting Walt Disney World Resort is the accessibility and accommodations that are offered throughout the resort to those that need them. Very generally, if you need an assistive device, wheelchair or electric vehicle to get around the parks, Disney has no problem with you using what is comfortable for you!
I wanted to point out
some options that you might have visiting the parks and resorts for anyone with mobility issues. One of the big benefits that you might want to look into is the
Disability Access Pass. If waiting in lines is the thing you have difficulty with, this pass essentially allows you to talk with the greeting Cast Member at the attraction you want to experience, they will then give you a time to return which is approximately how long the current wait is for the attraction. This ensures that you will still be able to visit the attraction and not have to worry about standing for the posted wait time. You have the option to set this up before you visit the parks as well as in the parks if needed.
You might not be able to take your crutches with you on most attractions, but there are places that are close to the loading areas where you will be able to place your crutches so they are close after you finish your experience. Disney also has some
recommendations for mobility access to all of the attractions throughout the parks if you needed.
I hope you find this information helpful in planning your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!
Happy planning,
Nick
