    I am mobility impaired (have a fused ankle, arthritis, and a bad knee). I want to visit Disney Springs East side? where Ghirardelli's is. How and where can I rent an ECV. I cannot park across the street due to limited mobility/walking. My options?

    I had the opportunity to spend some time at Disney Springs this past weekend. It is a beautiful space with many new shops, restaurants and parking areas. 

    At this time, there are two locations where Guests can rent Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) at Disney Springs: DisneyQuest Emporium (west) and Disney Springs Marketplace Stroller and Wheelchairs (east). My suggestion is to park closest to Cirque du Soleil, so you have a short walk to the ECV Rental at DisneyQuest Emporium. Take a look at the interactive map at the bottom of the above linked page to see exact locations. Keep in mind that quantities are limited and reservations are not accepted, as rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, the rental must not leave the Disney Springs area. Once all the paperwork is complete, you will be ready to head to Ghiradelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop for a yummy treat!

    Another option is to rent a unit from a Disney featured provider. Many Guests find more freedom with this option as they can use the device without limitations. A few of the companies will deliver (and pick up) the unit to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel based upon your schedule.
