I am mobility challenged and cannot walk to the parks from my hotel (Yacht Club). What options (other than walking) are there to get to Hollywood Studios for a 7:00 a.m. Rope Drop?

    Hello, Alexandra,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so happy to hear you have a Walt Disney World trip planned and are staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.  I hope you have a chance to enjoy Stormalong Bay while there; it is like a mini-water park and a perfect way to relax after spending time at the theme parks.

To get to Disney's Hollywood Studios, there is Walt Disney World Water Transportation from your resort to the theme park that runs on 15 - 30 minute intervals. If you'd rather not wait for Disney transportation,  you can take a taxi or a riding-sharing service like Lyft or Uber.  For something even more special and fun, you may want to consider a Disney Minnie Van, which is operated through Lyft.  It is a special treat to ride in a red and white polka dot minivan!

Also, did you know about the Disney Skyliner?  It runs between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and is so much fun to get to see all the views of Walt Disney World from the sky.  You could take that if you happen to park hop or to return home.  The Skyliner will bring you to the International Gateway at Epcot, which is not too far away from Disney's Beach Club Resort (which is the sister resort of your resort). If the walk back to your resort is too far, you can catch a Friendship Boat from the International Gateway that will bring you closer to your resort.

Wishing you a magical trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
