Hello and welcome to planDisney, Jennifer. Thanks for stopping by to share this question with us. This is a question after my heart (and stomach) and I'm delighted to help.
I love that you're formulating your strategy to ensure you get to try all of the treats from your must-eat list during your next visit. With
Halloween Time in full swing at the Disneyland Resort, there's no shortage of
spooktacular seasonal eats and treats to sink your teeth into, and I want to help you eat all the treats!
While it's never guaranteed, I can share that I've placed
mobile orders for some of the more popular items to be picked up later in the day and they have always been waiting for me when I picked them up. Now for storytime. Once I was at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe picking up a treat that I had placed a mobile order for, and there was only one of these particular treats left in the case. I overheard another Guest try to order it and the Cast Member shared that it was reserved for a mobile order. When I approached the window to give the Cast Member my mobile order number, they grabbed the treat from the case and gave it to me. Success! While your mileage can vary, I think it's a fairly solid strategy for making sure you secure your delicious treats.
So mobile order away, I say! I find that my eyes are usually bigger than my stomach, so I always bring a resealable bag or plastic container with me to take home any treats that I'm not able to enjoy while I'm at the theme park. Plus, it makes for a great edible souvenir and helps to prolong the magic when I'm back in reality. I took home the Jack-O'-Lantern Mickey Pumpkin Macaron on my last visit and it was the best decision I've ever made.
Jennifer, I hope this has been helpful. Most of all, I hope that you get to try all the eats and treats from your list during your next visit. Here's wishing you a magical (and delicious) time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
