Hey there, Keri!
It's great to see you here at planDisney! I hope your question means that you're starting to plan for a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Thanks for your great question about the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability service at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm happy to share you do not need to be a Guest of a Resort hotel in order to use Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability at one of that Resort's dining locations where Walk-up Availability is offered. I think the Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability makes for a quick and convenient way to use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to check out which participating restaurants have current walk-up availability and then add yourself and your dining party to a waitlist. In addition to using the My Disney Experience mobile app to check availability, you can use your mobile device to scan the QR code you'll find in the restaurant's lobby. With Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability, you can get to enjoy some delicious and fun dining table service experiences.
Keri, if you do have a particular Resort hotel restaurant in mind where you want to be sure to experience their delicious menu offerings during your stay, I would still encourage making a dining reservation.
And speaking of reservations, when you're making your plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, be sure to check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to make sure the theme parks have reservation availability on the days you want to visit. You can then make your theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system and manage all your theme park tickets and reservations with My Disney Experience.
Keri, here's wishing you all the fun of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have more questions as you make your plans, be sure to come back and ask us here at planDisney!
