Is Moana moving from HS to MK? And if so, do you know when and where? We are going to be at the parks from May 19-25th and are really only going to HS to meet Moana, but if she's moving, we would rather go to AK instead. Thank you!!

Greetings, Erin! Do you hear me crying? It’s not because Grandma’s spirit moved on to a Manta Ray, though that scene in Moana will get me going every time!

It’s because at this time, Moana doesn’t have a future destination in mind after April 16th. Though Moana is a Master Wayfinder, it has not yet been announced if her stay will be lengthened at One Man’s Dream in Disney’s Hollywood Studios or where she may be in the future. I can only hope that Te Fiti will grant us the gift of a Moana meet and greet!

Since you are visiting in May, I hope that you can keep the tropical spirit and visit Epcot for its International Flower and Garden Festival. Partake in Dole Whips, Hibiscus-lined  park benches, and beautiful fountains covered in flora and fauna. You can also find special Moana merchandise in the Moana Mercantile, in the upper level of Disney’s Polynesian Village Great Ceremonial House. I just picked up a few prints and a giant Golden Book of the Moana story for my kids this week!

I’m glad to hear that you love Disney’s new heroine as much as my family does, and let’s hope the stars guide Moana to a new meeting spot! Have a magical vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
