You are in for an incredible Alaskan sailing aboard the
Disney Magic next month. My family and I had the best time earlier this summer aboard the Magic exploring Alaska. I wish I could do it all again! While there were many characters to greet onboard the ship, Moana was not among them. I'm sorry if that's not the news you were hoping to hear, but I hope you have a great time meeting all the Disney pals who will be visiting
Alaska with you. I especially loved seeing Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in their outfits exclusive to Alaskan sailings
I like to walk or jog along the Promenade Deck (Deck 4) of the Disney Magic and was delighted to see so many characters enjoying the fresh air too. Definitely head outside to see both the beautiful views and to run into your Disney friends. You never know who will be out and about.
To prepare for your upcoming cruise, I recommend that you pack layers so that you are prepared for whatever the weather might be. We were very happy that we brought binoculars for all the wildlife there was to spot. And everyone in your travel party will be glad if they have comfortable, sturdy shoes to wear when they explore in port. Icy Strait Point has a very rocky shoreline that you can stroll down if you'd like. Many families were skipping rocks as they watched the water for marine life. We had the best luck whale watching from the shore at Icy Strait Point. I hope you find a whale too.
