Hiya Elsa,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney again! This time, with your question about
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! MNSSHP is truly one of my family’s absolute favorite Disney events of the year. We love getting dressed up in family costumes, and last year we even went as the Ghost Hosts from Haunted Mansion. Cast members kept stopping us all night, saying we were late for our shift at the mansion, and it honestly made the evening even more hilarious and magical!
So, Elsa, let’s jump right into your spooktacular question! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a
separately ticketed event, which means you will need a special event ticket, not a regular park admission ticket, to attend. You can easily purchase tickets right through the My Disney Experience app or on the
Walt Disney World website.
The ghoulish party officially begins at 7:00 PM, but as party guests, guests are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM. This gives you extra time to grab dinner, ride a few attractions, snap some festive photos in front of the castle, and pick up your event wristband before all the Halloween magic officially begins.
Once the party starts, Magic Kingdom transforms into the ultimate Halloween celebration. You will find exclusive character meet-and-greets with characters dressed in their Halloween best, spooky-themed treats, special event merchandise, trick-or-treat stations throughout the park, and, of course, all the eerie entertainment that makes this event so beloved.
One thing you absolutely do not want to miss is
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. It is hands down my favorite Disney parade of all time! I highly recommend finding your parade spot early, because about 15 minutes before the parade begins, the Headless Horseman typically rides down the parade route, and seeing him gallop through is always a core memory.
Elsa, I hope this helps answer your question and gets you even more excited for your not-so-spooky adventure! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to visit us again.
See you real soon,
Christina
