We will be at MNSSHP next week & have dessert party reservations with plaza fireworks viewing, but I was wondering if the dessert party would cause us to miss the first parade? What time would the parade make it to Main Street if it starts at 9:15?

Hi Beth! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

After reading your question, I am now dreaming of all the yummy treats you will get at the Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I know you will have a spook-tacular night!

I spoke with a Cast Member to see what I could find out about viewing Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade during your dessert party. According to the Cast Member, you should be able to view the first parade that begins at 9:15 p.m. from the dessert party! When I watched the parade from Main Street, U.S.A. a couple of weeks ago, the Headless Horseman made his debut before the parade right at the scheduled start time, then the rest of the parade followed about 10-15 minutes later.

Since you should be able to see the first parade, after your viewing of the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show your evening should be free to experience some of the other party fun like character meet-and-greets, entertainment, attractions, and trick-or-treating. I had the opportunity to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party twice this year and I would absolutely go again if I could. It was SO much fun!

I hope this helps with your planning, Beth! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.
