Going to MNSSHP Halloween night. I hear it's very busy. Since we can't get in until 4pm, would it be worth using one of our days to get in earlier? My boys are 7 and 4, so don't think they'll be staying up until midnight.

    Hi Sabrina!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

The Magic Kingdom is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort and is a favorite of many guests.  It's my favorite park in Walt Disney World.  Guests can easily spend two days there, especially with young children.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party runs from 7 pm until midnight and there are special activities and events once the party starts.  For example, there are dance parties and stage performances.  Of course there is also trick or treating throughout the park.  There is also a special parade and fireworks show that shouldn't be missed.  The special fireworks show is the best put on by the Magic Kingdom all year round.  Once the party starts, you should definitely do those things that can only be done during the party; thus you won't have a lot of time to ride the attractions that are always there.

My recommendation is to reserve at least one whole day to visit the Magic Kingdom even if you will be going to the Halloween party one night.  There's really that much to do in the Magic Kingdom.  One idea might be go to the Magic Kingdom at park opening on Halloween and just staying in that park all day and then into the party.  You would have to use one day of your Magic Your Way ticket plus the Halloween party ticket.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
