Boo to you, Susan!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I know you are going to have a spook-tacular time trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
I attended the party a few weeks ago with some of my best friends and fellow Moms Panelists, and we sat in a fang-tastic spot for viewing both the Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Show. The spot we chose was a curb right in front of Casey’s Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. During the fireworks, we were the perfect distance from Cinderella Castle to see the projections and the fireworks in the sky. During the parade, we had a great view of the Headless Horseman and the floats, and the curbside location was great for seeing and interacting with the characters and parade performers.
Susan, if you want to watch the fireworks and parade from a spot along Main Street, U.S.A., you will want to find your spot at least 30 minutes in advance, and you will be waiting a while between the parade and the fireworks (or vice versa, depending on which parade you choose to see). It’s up to you to decide whether you want to try to squeeze in an attraction, some shopping, or some trick-or-treating between the two events – my advice would be to make that call based on how tired your feet are and how busy the party night is. My friends and I grabbed some tasty treats and had so much fun chatting and people watching (there are
so many fantastic costumes) while we waited.
Have a frightfully fun time at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and I hope a ghost follows you home!
Happy haunting,
Robyn
