Hey there Emily and welcome to planDisney!
Well, you've done it. The
Theme Park Tickets are purchased and the
Theme Park Reservations are made, the
Advanced Dining Reservations are made, the hotel is booked and it's nearly time for you to go. You've only got a few weeks left until the magic begins for you and your family at the Walt Disney World Resort. And to top it all off you've snagged your family tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to round out what is sure to be an amazing vacation. If you're anything like me, you've planned your costumes to a tee and are so ready to frolic through Magic Kingdom Park collecting candy as you go.
I'm glad to see that you already know that even though
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts at 7 PM, Guests of the party can enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4 PM. But what to do with your costume until the party starts? The answer is: Wear them! That's right party Guests can stroll through those gates at 4 PM in costume to get the festivities kicked off. Just be sure to read those
Official Costume Guidelines to be sure that everyone in your party is dressed to impress and up to par.
Pro-tip: My personal strategy for attending the party also includes entering the park as early as possible. I would definitely recommend trying to knock out a few rides in those hours before the official party time. That way you can focus on party-exclusive activities like the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and
Disney's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. Did you know that Max Goof is going dressed as Powerline this year to start off the parade? This 90s kid is definitely practicing her Perfect Cast in preparation so I can stand out on Main Street, U.S.A.
Emily, I hope you have a spooky good time with your family in a few weeks. This is definitely one shindig you're sure to remember. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat. I'm happy to help!
Happy planning!
