Mi Merann! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm so excited you have chosen to attend
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! This is my favorite event at Walt Disney World and I'm happy it is making its return this year! On our last visit a few years back, my entire family dressed up as characters from Hocus Pocus. My wife and daughters dressed as the Sanderson Sisters while I was tasked with dressing up as Billy! We had the best time getting in character and interacting with other Guests that were dressed for the party as well. Since we're on the topic, make sure to check out the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show at Cinderella Castle. It was the highlight of our amazing night!
Duck Tales is such a classic Disney throwback and will make for some fun and creative costumes!
According to the guidelines set forth for this event, costume headwear can be worn but cannot cover the face. Based on this description, it does not sound like you will be able to wear them for the duration of the party. In regards to putting them on for just pictures, I would advise against this as well. However, I would check with a PhotoPass Photographer or a Guest Relations Cast Member to see if this may be allowed.
Even though the party does not officially start until 7 PM, you can enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4 PM on this day. By doing so, you get an extra few hours to grab an early dinner, ride some attractions, or do anything else you would do on a regular park day. Once the party begins, take advantage of the events taking place throughout the night.
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular are wildly entertaining and absolute must-see experiences when attending. Also, look out for trick-or-treat stations set up throughout the park! Who wouldn't want to go trick-or-treating around the Magic Kingdom!
Merann, I hope you have a Spooktacular time at Mickey's amazing Halloween extravaganza!
See ya real soon!
