Hi there, Michael! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great question. I love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!
Well, Michael, you are someone after my own heart! My family and I LOVED Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom! We loved playing the game and collecting and trading the cards with Cast Members. Any time we entered a special event, such as
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the very first thing we would do was head to the Main Street Firehouse to check out the special event Sorcerers card. We have the official binder that holds all of our cards, and we still love flipping through the cards and cherishing the most special ones. So, I appreciate your question and am honored to answer it today!
Unfortunately, the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game has been retired. So, that means, unfortunately, the cards will likely not return either. This just makes our old, special event cards even more special and magical!
Hakuna Matata, Michael! It means "no worries!" Since you seem to enjoy interactive activities throughout the parks, as I do, I recommend keeping an eye out for the release of the new
MagicBand+ this summer! A few of my planDisney pals were recently able to try out the new Bands, and they look AWESOME! They enable interaction with some of the golden 50th Anniversary statues throughout the parks and more to make some super cool Disney moments! I'm super excited to see everything that can be done with MagicBand+, and I think you will be, too!
Michael, while I'm sure this was not the answer you were hoping for, I hope it was at least helpful. I hope you have the most spooktacular time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and I hope you stop by any time with any vacation planning questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
