For the MNSSHP can an adult wear a costume that includes a shirt and jacket or is that considered layered? Also is a jacket that has coat tails to the knees considered a cape? Thanks much

Greetings, Kathrine, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for this excellent question regarding costumes for special events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Are you excited about attending this special event at Magic Kingdom Park, Kathrine? Get ready for this spooktacular event by resting and taking it easy during the day, then at night be prepared for the grandest festivities ever!

In reading the Costume Guidelines for this special event, it is my understanding that capes may be worn provided they do not extend below the waist. I feel the shirt and jacket with coat tails would be fine as long as the coat tails do not extend to the ground and are near or at waist level. To feel confident about this attire, may I suggest you call (407) 939-5277 to clarify.

Don't miss the undead Cadaver Dans Street Performance at Frontierland to tap your foot to such tunes as "The Oogie Boogie Song", "Boo", "Grim Grinning Ghosts", "The Headless Horseman", to name a few.

Have you heard about the amazing Happy HalloWishes Dessert Premium Package? You'll enjoy "Mickey's "Boo To You" Halloween Parade" from a select viewing location on Main Street, U.S.A. and then get ready for a to-die-for spooktacularly delicious premium dessert party with views of Happy HalloWishes Fireworks soaring over Cinderella Castle.

    BOO To YOU!
