What is the MK train schedule? How often does it make the circuit, and is there only one? Trying to figure out if it's best to get on the train, try Main street vehicles, or just hoof it if I want to get to Fantasyland ASAP after park opens.

    Hi Monica!!

There are usually 2 different trains on the track for the Walt Disney World Railroad at the Magic Kingdom.

It takes approximately 20 minutes to make the loop on the Walt Disney World Railroad.  I would definitely recommend hustling by foot to get back to the New Fantasyland when you enter the Magic Kingdom.  Considering the fact that the train first has to stop in Frontierland before making its way to the New Fantasyland will make the train a slower mode of transportation versus walking.

However, I would recommend taking the train if your first destination is ever Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad as the train can get you to Frontierland faster than by foot.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
