Hi there, Hazel, and thanks for stopping by planDisney.
I love multigenerational trips to
Walt Disney World, as there is something for everyone to enjoy, so I’m delighted to help with your question today!
My children love going to the theme parks with their Grandparents, so this question is close to my heart. It sounds like you have been to Disney World many times over the years, so you’ll understand when I say that as soon as we step through those park gates, there’s that familiar feeling of being “home”.
While there aren’t any discounts for Guests who don’t go on the rides, I do have plenty of suggestions to help you get the most magic out of your day, so that whether you enjoy rides or not, everyone has the best holiday!
Firstly, let’s talk about the
shows,
parades, and
fireworks! There are so many incredible entertainment options that all capture the beautiful storytelling that Disney is known for.
Festival of the Lion King and
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! are two of my absolute favourite shows, and can be enjoyed by the whole family.
I’m a huge fan of nighttime spectaculars; they are so captivating and always pull at my heartstrings (cue the tissues!) So don’t miss
Happily Ever After,
Luminous The Symphony of Us, and
Fantasmic! lighting up the skies. For an extra magical treat, my family loves booking the
Fantasmic! Dining Package, so you can enjoy a delicious meal before the show and VIP seating.
And don't forget to stop by and meet all of your favourite Disney friends, there are so many
Character Experiences to enjoy! I love seeing photos of my children throughout the years, meeting
Mickey Mouse at Town Square, they are some of my favourite family photos.
Hazel, I hope this helps you plan how all members of your group can have the most magical time at Disney World. If you have any other questions, I would love to help you again at
planDisney.
Magic Awaits,
Abi
