Hi there, John, and welcome to planDisney!
Eek! Your most magical vacation will be here before you know it, and it’s great that you’re putting together the final pieces to your itinerary puzzle. I am more than happy to help.
Yes, the only way to see the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks inside the theme park on October 3, 2023 is to purchase tickets to
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. By the way, it is my family’s tradition to visit this unique, separately ticketed event every year. So, if you can, you totally should join in on the trick-or-treating and holiday fun!
When the standard theme park hours end, Cast Members will subtly check to see if you and your party have wristbands that signify if you are Guests of the Halloween Party. So, you would have to eventually leave the park and would not be able to see the Halloween-themed (not
Happily Ever After) fireworks.
AN EXTRA GEM: But alas! You could also view these fireworks (at a distance) by hanging out at the Transportation & Ticket Center. This is the hub for the
Disney Monorail or the Magic Kingdom Ferry. Also, consider watching the fireworks from Disney’s Contemporary Resort at
California Grill or book a dinner at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and watch the fireworks from the beach there.
If you have any other questions about your upcoming adventure, John, please don’t hesitate to
revisit us here at planDisney. Have an amazing visit!
Magic always,
LeAndra
