Did MK replace "Wishes" with "The Magic, The Memories, and You"? I had planned to propose during "Wishes" and noticed a new video of The Magic which looked like it replaced "Wishes" meaning i'd have to come up with

    Hi Nick,

I got goose bumps just reading your question - I'm so excited for you! Disney is the perfect place to propose!

Take a deep breath - Wishes Nighttime Spectacular  and The Magic, The Memories, and You! are both presented most nights at the Magic Kingdom so no need for a new plan - whew!

Wishes is still presently most evenings except on those evenings when the Magic Kingdom closes early for a special event (i.e., Night of Joy, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party & Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party).

The Disney Parks theme for 2011 is Let the Memories Begin and The Magic, The Memories, and You! presentation is a huge part of this celebration. The presentation lasts about 10 minutes and it will be held throughout this year.

Presentations are typically held approximately 15 - 30 minutes prior to Wishes depending on the nightly schedule. On some evenings, it is presented twice.

If you want to plan some sort of in-room celebration or have something special delivered to a dining location after you propose, be sure to contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Department online at or by phone at 407-WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438).

This will truly be a year where your memories will begin - yay!!!  Congratulations!!  Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
