Hi, Phyllis!
Halloween is such a fun time to visit Walt Disney World® Resort! Do you have any ideas for dates you would like to travel?
With regard to Halloween activities within the theme parks, Magic Kingdom is the only one that holds a themed event with
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This is a special-ticketed event held on select dates in September and October. However, the Magic Kingdom will still be decked out in its Halloween finest even during regular park hours- you won't want to miss it.
There are, however, other fun fall activities you might be interested in. For Example, enjoy a culinary delight of international food choices as the annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival brings you the opportunity to sample fare from around the world. Additionally, Downtown Disney generally offers fun-filled Halloween activities, but please watch the Walt Disney World® website for future announcements due to the construction in and around Downtown Disney.
Lastly, runDisney will be hosting the
Tower of Terror™ 10-Miler Weekend, October 3-4, 2014. There are two race events available, the Disney Happy Haunted 5k Trail Run and the Tower of Terror™ 10 mile nighttime race. During the 10-miler, you can bring out your inner villainous runner and then enjoy the Disney Villains Hollywood Bash post-race party. It's always a good time when you runDisney!
I hope this helps answer your question, Phyllis! Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you begin planning a spooktacular vacation to the Walt Disney World® Resort.
Happy Hauntings!
Faith
