Will be at MK on 11/29. Park hours listed on WDW says the park is opening at 8am. The calendar for the Welcome Show says that starts at 8:40am. I'm confused about when the park actually opens. We are resort guests so does that get us in at 8am.

    Hi Amanda!

You must be so excited your vacation is in just a few days!  The Walt Disney World Resort is especially beautiful this time of year and filled with festive experiences.  I just love spending the holidays at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

The Walt Disney World Park Hours Calendar shows that Magic Kingdom Park will be open from 8:00am - 12:00am on Saturday, November 29, 2014.  Since you are a Resort Guest, you may also take advantage of the Extra Magic Evening Hours that night from 12:00am - 2:00am.  With the park opening at 8:00am, the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show will begin at 7:50am, but I would make sure to be there around 30 minutes before to get a great view.

Please let us know if there is anything else we may assist you with, Amanda.  Have a wonderful vacation and enjoy the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Magical Wishes,

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
