Hi Tiffany!
Welcome to planDisney!
On select evenings in November and December, Magic Kingdom closes early to host
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. On party evenings, the theme park closes at 6:00 p.m. for Guests with standard theme park tickets and party festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. for Guests with party tickets. The party includes exclusive entertainment, including
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. This means that
Disney Enchantment, the nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks display, isn't shown on party nights and, unfortunately, if you won't be attending the party, you will need to exit the theme park before the party's fireworks.
You can still enjoy Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks from outside the theme park. You could enjoy the show from one of the hotels along the resort monorail. Several restaurants have beautiful views of the fireworks, such as
'Ohana and
California Grill. Or you could view them from one of the open spaces at the hotels along the resort monorail. For an extra special evening, you could book a
private fireworks cruise to view the fireworks from a pontoon boat on Seven Seas Lagoon!
Even though you aren't attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you'll still have a fantastic time
visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season! There's always so much magic at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs, but there's something extra-special about the holiday magic at the resort. Be sure to plan on visiting the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays to get a taste of holiday celebrations from around the world!
Let us know if we can help you again as your trip approaches. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
