If MK opens at 9 am, my understanding is that they open the gates approximately one hour before. What time does the boat and monorail start running then from the TTC?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christine! I'm so glad that I get to answer another question for you about your upcoming vacation. It sounds like we have a lot in common because I am definitely an early riser when I'm at Walt Disney World Resort. I think that getting there early in the morning is one of the secrets to getting on to some of your favorite attractions while they have shorter wait times and I swear it's like having a few extra FastPass+ selections in your back pocket!

Officially, complimentary Theme Park transportation begins about 45 minutes ahead of opening time. When you arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center you may find that ferry and monorail service is running a bit early to get guests to pre-opening dining reservations and you're welcome to hop on as well. Magic Kingdom Park does allow guests to filter on to Main Street U.S.A. about an hour in advance, so you'll be able to get off of that transportation and just tap your ticket or MagicBand and walk right in without having to wait for the gates to open. You can take a leisurely stroll through the shops, grab some coffee to start the day, and catch Let The Magic Begin before you get in line for your favorite attractions. On a really lucky day, I find that I'm usually able to enjoy about three or four attractions with lower wait times before most other guests arrive for the day in the mid-morning!

    Have a magical day, Christine!
