At MK on Oct 26th. Leaving in pm for a rest at POFQ. Thinking of having quick service dinner at a resort close to MK on our way back from rest- especially if we could take the monorail back to MK. Restaurant recommendations for plain/picky eaters? Thx

    Hi, Bethany!

Each of the resorts on the monorail line have great quick service restaurants for you to enjoy.  So let me walk you though your options.

Start by taking the bus from French Quarter to the Magic Kingdom.  Hop on the Resort Monorail line.  Your first stop will be the Contemporary where you can dine at the Contempo Cafe. This is fun as it is located next to Chef Mickey's and you can enjoy your meal as the monorail zooms by overhead!

If you prefer, stay on the monorail to the Polynesian where they have Captain Cooks.  Grab a delicious meal (everything from burgers and pizza to yummy Asian noodles) then sit poolside or head to the beach and lounge on a cozy beach chair with a great view of the Magic Kingdom.  You may never want to leave this spot!  (And if you don't, stay for a nighttime movie on the beach and a magical view of the fireworks!)

Your final choice will be the Gasparilla Grill at Grand Floridian.  Here you can dine outside right by the beautiful marina.

Whichever location you choose for dinner, make sure to take some time to explore the resort!  Each has its own unique personality you will want to discover.  Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
