We are going to MK after hours, which ends at midnight. What time does the monorail stop running? We won't have a car so how do we get back to resort if it's not running and we can't get back to the TTC for an uber?

    Hi Kristen,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question. Attending Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park sounds like a wonderful way to end a Disney day - I’ve been dying to try it myself!

Typically, Walt Disney World Resort’s complimentary transportation ends about an hour after the Theme Park closes. Although the Resort Monorail's hours often vary quite a bit, which means that it may not be running by the time your Special Event ends, you should absolutely still be able to use Walt Disney World Resort Bus Service to get you to your destination, if you’re staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. If your destination is elsewhere, I recommend either taking a ferryboat to the Transportation and Ticket Center (if they're in operation) following the walkway to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and calling either a taxi or an Uber from there.

I hope my answer helps you get “home” safely after a day of fun! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
