We are going to MK, then 8:30 Hoop de Do on a day MK closes at 8. What is best mode of transportation to get back to POP? Should we just drive? Also, grandkids mostly only eat chicken nuggets. Can we get that at Hoop de Do for them?

    Howdy Linda!
By far the easiest way to get to and from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is to drive. However, my family also loves the boat transportation available from the Magic Kingdom- it is a fun ride! You will find the resort boat launches near the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. Returning to your resort could be a bit trickier since the Magic Kingdom closes early on that day. In that case you would need to catch an internal bus to the Outpost Depot and then catch a bus to any of the theme parks. You would then transfer to a bus heading to your resort. As you can see, driving your own car may be the best way to go!

As far as the food goes, it is delicious! But, as a "Nana" myself, I know how important it is to keep the grand-kids happy. I would recommend letting your server know right away that you have a special request for the little ones. Since the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue shares a kitchen with Trails End, I think you will find a lot of country hospitality when it comes to special requests.

I am confidant that you will have a great time at this unique dining venue. Make sure and give a hardy YEE HAW! in honor of the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
