we are going to MK for the first time for my husbands birthday. on May 14th. Our little one is 4, we only have one day at disney. I want to make reservations for dinner. I'm afraid we will be wiped out and too tired for dinner. suggestions? plz, help!

Hi, Gina!    Have you considered making your reservations for breakfast or lunch?    Since you will be at the Magic Kingdom, I would recommend you either start your day with a breakfast at Chef Mickey's (at the Contemporary Resort, just a short walk to the Magic Kingdom) or breakfast or lunch at Crystal Palace which is located right at the top of Main St. USA in the Magic Kingdom.  At the Crystal Palace, you can dine with Pooh and his friends.  At either dining experience, let them know you are there to celebrate a birthday and they will sometime surprise the birthday person with a sweet treat!

No matter what meal of the day you choose, there is always a celebration!   By doing a breakfast or lunch, your little mouseketeer won't be too tired to enjoy the fun!  You are getting very close to your vacation date, so make your call for Advance Dining Reservations as soon as possible by calling (407)WDW-DINE.

Make sure your husband picks up his free Happy Birthday button at guest services.   Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
