Welcome to planDisney, Jenny! Is there anything more iconic than fireworks over Cinderella Castle after a full day at Magic Kingdom Park? I honestly don't think so! Let's light up the magic with all you need to know to enjoy the fireworks at Walt Disney World Resort!
Happily Ever After is the nightly fireworks and projection show that takes place at Magic Kingdom. You can catch this dazzling spectacular from several different vantage points throughout the park, but the most popular is anywhere on Main Street, U.S.A. where you can have a clear view of
Cinderella Castle to be able to see both the fireworks in the sky and the projections on the castle that accompany them. Currently, the fireworks are scheduled at 9:20 PM each night, but be sure to check the
Park Hours and Events calendar for your specific dates to verify showtimes.
In addition to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, both Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT also offer nightly fireworks shows. At Hollywood Studios, you'll be able to take a journey into Mickey's imagination with
Fantasmic! This is my personal favorite nighttime show, and I recommend arriving early to ensure you get a good spot to see all the magic! In EPCOT, anywhere around World Showcase Lagoon will offer you a great viewing location for
Luminous The Symphony of Us.
One final nighttime show I'll mention is the brand new
Disney Dreams That Soar. This show uses 800 drones to create images in the sky of some of our favorite Disney characters; it is truly a unique offering. While subject to change, currently the show is nightly at Disney Springs at 9 PM and 10:45 PM through September 2.
Jenny, I hope this helps you to find magic in the sky when you visit! If you have any other vacation planning questions, please come back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always happy to help!
Magic and Memories,
Alison
