Hi! I am going to MK on Feb7, and there are morning EMH, can you please let me know if i can access the park using my car? or only with Disney Trans? I read the park opens the gate 1hr before park opening, this means we can go in at 7am??

Hi there, Maria Cristina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so glad you've stopped by with your question.

With the iconic Cinderella Castle, my favorite attraction: Pirates of the Caribbean and so much more to enjoy, you're about to have a Magical day at Magic Kingdom Park!

I see that the Extra Magic Hours currently listed for February 7th are for 8:00 am- 9:00 am. Just to clarify, if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can absolutely take advantage of this time. Extra Magic Hours are a perk for guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel and a great way to get a little bonus time in the parks. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel and making the drive that morning, Magic Kingdom Park will open at 9:00 am.

Since you are planning to drive, you will park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there you can either take a ferry or monorail to reach Magic Kingdom Park. A Cast Member confirmed that the parking area at the Transportation and Ticket Center opens approximately 2 hours before the posted park opening time.

Before grabbing your to-go cup and hitting the highway, take a look at the parking information that includes a map and current rates.

And finally, as you are getting ready, don't forget to make those Fastpass+ selections in advance to make the most out of your Magic Kingdom Park day! Maria Cristina, best wishes for an unforgettable trip!
