Hi - if we are in MK during the day of and have a 7pm dining reservation on a night that there is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas but don't buy tickets for the event, is this a problem? Or can we just finish dinner and exit the park? Thanks!

    Hi Cassie,

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party does officially begin at 7:00 p.m. and Cast Members will be verifying all guests to be wearing wristbands for this Special Event. In my experience, I don't recall table service restaurants even seating guests past 7:00 p.m. on Christmas party nights. Perhaps dining around Seven Seas Lagoon would be a great end to your day at Magic Kingdom, Cassie. There are so many wonderful dining options at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, Disney's Polynesian Resort or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, all of which are only a boat or monorail ride away.

You can continue to enjoy attractions up until the party begins and then travel over to a wonderfully themed dinner for a perfectly magical evening. Be sure to book your dining at 180-days prior to arrival by calling 407-WDW-DINE or online.

Thank you for your question, Cassie, and happy planning.
