Hiya Jada,
Welcome back to planDisney! It makes us so happy that you come back and see us for your planning questions.
Speaking of questions, you ask a fantastic one! The
Nighttime Spectaculars at Walt Disney World Resort are, in my opinion, the best parts of every visit. No matter how many times I've seen them, I still get teary-eyed when Tinker Bell soars above, sprinkling pixie dust on all of the Guests below. I also listen to Disney's Harmonious and Enchantment playlists on my phone almost every day just because they make me smile. The
Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties are an excellent way to enjoy Disney's Enchantment because they provide preferred viewing areas and spectacular yummy treats. As someone who lives in the South, you know that the only thing guaranteed about the weather is that it can change. Despite being in the Sunshine State, Orlando is no stranger to a stray thunderstorm or two. I vividly remember watching one of Magic Kingdom's former shows, Happily Ever After, amid a little Florida downpour on Valentine's Day a few years ago that was not forecasted to occur. I understand the hesitancy entirely to reserve spots for a Dessert Party when you aren't sure if your money would be refunded if the fireworks were canceled. I reached out to a Cast Member to learn a little bit more about the cancellation/refund policy around dessert parties and hopefully can put your mind at ease. If Walt Disney World Resort cancels Disney's Enchantment, you should receive a 100% refund for your Magic Kingdom Dessert Party.
I hope that helps you feel more comfortable deciding to make reservations! I know you will enjoy the experience!
Happy Planning, and Come Back and See Us,
Ashley F.
