    We´re going to MK on Dec 8th, the park opens at 9. In order to be entering as soon as they open, what hour should i be at the parking lot? I mean, can we take the monorail earlier in order to be at main street at 9AM or before? Thanks

    Hi Diego!

    The monorail usually begins running routes to the Magic Kingdom at 7:30 am. In order to be in front of the park for the rope drop and opening ceremony, I would plan to arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center between 8:00 and 8:15. This will give you plenty of time to get from your parking spot to the monorail platform, and then enough time to ride the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

    Depending on crowd levels, they may only be running the resort monorail line that early in the morning. We encountered this a few times on our last visit. The resort monorail will make stops at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian before arriving at the Magic Kingdom. If the lines are exceptionally long they may begin running the express monorail as well, but plan on spending a little extra time on the monorail just in case.
