Hello, Melissa! I'm thrilled to hear that you will be bringing your 9 month old daughter to enjoy the pixie dust of
Magic Kingdom Park! I understand your love for baby-wearing; I have a little one, myself, that I wore to the parks several times this year.
You'll be happy to hear there are over 20 different attractions in Magic Kingdom Park, such as
Dumbo the Flying Elephant and
Jungle Cruise, that have no height restriction and you can comfortably be close to your baby. My baby girl was wide-eyed during the aerial magic of
Peter Pan's Flight, but I felt safer having her close to me in my lap in our magical pirate ship.
If there's an attraction that does have a height restriction that you'd like to experience, please know several rides in Magic Kingdom park (
as well as Disney's three other theme parks) offer
Rider Switch Service. With Rider Switch, one adult can wait with baby or a non-rider while the rest of your group enjoys the ride. After the riders exit, they can supervise the non-riders while the initial waiting adult can experience the fun without having to board via the regular line. I highly recommend using rider switch for a can't-miss attraction like
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The dwarfs are so elegant, and the gems shine so brilliantly!
Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, it's off to fun you go! ~Lindsey
