Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Lindsay. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! And with a
little one in tow! You're sure to make lots of precious memories together as a family.
I understand your concern.
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park doesn't officially begin until 10:00PM, so the park is open to daytime Guests until typical closing hours as posted on the
Hours & Events Calendar. Operating hours haven't been published for your arrival date quite yet, but I would imagine Magic Kingdom Park would be open until at least 9:00PM. That all said, as a mom of three, I never purchase a theme park ticket for my family's arrival day. Traveling from Pennsylvania to the Walt Disney World Resort is enough adventure for one day! Instead of visiting the park, we usually plan some downtime at our Disney Resort hotel, and then book a special dining experience, like a meal at
Chef Mickey's. Then we get ourselves in bed early so we're ready for pixie-dusted adventures the next day!
As a mom, I love all the family-friendly services available to Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort. Did you know that
complimentary cribs are available at Disney Resort hotels? And that there's a conveniently located
Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks? These offerings make traveling with a baby a breeze!
I hope this was helpful, Lindsay. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
