We are going to MK in April and my parents are Canadian citizens but are snowbirds who own a property in Florida and reside 6 months of the year. Do they qualify for the discounted Florida resident 3 day tickets? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Natasha!

Florida is a very popular destination for snowbirds and Disney World welcomes Seasonal Florida Residents. Your parents will be able to purchase Florida resident tickets as long as they can provide one of the following as proof of Florida residency for each adult ticket purchased:

    • A Florida driver's license
    • A Florida State-issued ID card that must show a Florida address
    • A Florida based military ID

If they are unable to provide one of the above, then for each adult ticket purchased they must provide one of the following dated within the last 2 months of visit showing proof of a Florida residential address together with a corresponding picture ID (a passport, driver's license, state-issued ID card):
    • Monthly mortgage statement
    • Florida vehicle registration or title
    • Homeowner's insurance policy or bill
    • Automobile insurance policy or bill
    • Utility Bill
    • Mail from a financial institution (including checking, savings or investment account statement)
    • Mail from a Federal, State, County or City Government Agency

The link shown above has complete details.  Have a great trip!  Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
