If I mistakenly linked 2 magic bands to my name, instead of one to my son’s name. Can I unlink it or switch it to my sons name?

Hi Mildred, and welcome to planDisney!

I have some experience assigning my theme park tickets to the wrong individuals, but luckily My Disney Experience makes it easy to make the change, so there is no need to worry. As long as the ticket has not been used, you can reassign the ticket in question to your son. Before you begin, be sure to add him to your Family & Friends List so that his name appears when the time comes to assign the ticket. To complete this task, go to the “My Reservations” section of your My Disney Experience account and then select the ticket you wish to reassign, and select “Reassign Ticket,” and proceed through the process. From there, you will be ready!

If you desire, do not forget to order your MagicBands. You can have them customized with the name, and they will be delivered to you before your arrival date, as long as the order is placed in time.

We are here to help; please return should you have additional questions.

    Have a magical time!
